From the owner +
Wharram Pahi 42 made of Okume-Plywood and WEST Epoxy System coating in the early 1990ies by a guy in Munich, Germany.
Construction supervision was made by Phil Young, a well-known (not only Wharram) boat builder in Germany.
First watered in 1995 in the Mediterranean Sea and sailed there for 1 year, then crossed the Atlantik Ocean and stopped the journey in the Caribbean Sea.
Second owner, Austrian, bought it there & took it to the Med again on a bulker in 2004 and sailed it round Corsica and in Greece.
The boat was moored near James Wharram’s and Haneke Boon’s Gaia in Corfu and they made a respect statement for the building quality of Apapane.
Then made a complete refit in 2008/2009 and sailed in the Adriatic Sea.
In 2012/2013 the Austrian owner made a journey from Venice to the Caribbean crossing the Atlantic Ocean single handed, then putting the boat on the market 2014 due to work commitments.
The present US owner bought the boat and has enjoyed sailing with his family in the Caribbean, but has other commitments in his life now.
