From the owner +
As far as we know, the first owner was English, he sailed in GB and sailed her down to the Med.
In 1994 a German bought her in Greece. He replaced the engine 1995 (Yanmar 3GM30, 27 hp)
From this time on, the boat always sailed in Greek waters for a couple of weeks in summertime and always overwintered on drydock in Preveza (Marina) for at least 9 months a year.
In 2001 another German owner bought the boat. He painted the internal wood in white. He also had the boat in Preveza ashore for wintering.
He hardly used the boat as a holiday flat for some weeks only. Due to age he sold it to us in 2012.
We upgraded her with a new standing rigging and replaced the sails and sailed her around the Peloponnisos, across the Aegean Islands to the Dodecannisos and back to the Peloponnisos during 2013 and 2014. She overwintered ashore in Kylada.
The boat is a sturdy, seaworthy, reliable litte catamaran which can take quite a lot of wind.
She offers 2 wide singlebunks in the aft and 1 huge doublebunk in front of the saloon.
The storage room in the porthul front could be easily converted back to a singlebunk.(new matrasses for this bunk are available from us, if wanted).
Due to the large decks she would also make a nice boat for familys with children.
The foredecks are perfect for sunbathing, the aftdeck is the "bathing platform" including the comfortable bathing ladder and a removable deckshower.
IDA is equipped for sailing in the Med, including large sunownings, cockpit cushions and a good electric windlass with Buegelanchor and 45 meters of 8mm chain and warp.
She has 7 huge hatches to open and 4 sliding windows plus 2 small hatches. All are to open and covered with mosquito nets.
Furthermore she has a 2,35 Neptune Dinghi (2012) with an reliable Malta 2,3hp outboard engine on davits.
The galley is situated in the starboard hull and equipped with a double flame gas cooker including oven and grill, a stainless steel sinkand a lot of storage room.
There is a Danfoss 41l fridge, which works perfect, provided with power from the huge 3 solarpaneels on deck.
There is an electric safety switch for the gas installed.
The watertanks are in the keels (around 120 liters on each side). In the galley there is a footpump.
The bathroom includes a JABSCO toilet (new 2012 including new hoses) a sink and a footpump for the water. There is an extra shower installation with a hot walter boiler (5 liter, 2013) and an electric pressure pump.
The charttable is situated on the portside hull and has kingsize dimensions. Here are also the 3 domestic batteries (2013) and the electric and electronic installations.
In the saloon there is a setee for 4 - 6 and a big slideable table. In the front of the saloon there is a huge double bunk. (This could be converted into a setee as well).
The mainsail is new from 2013, the furlingjib new in 2014. The furlinggenoa is around 5 years old, but in very good condition. The inner forstay sail is like new and the Spinaker was hardly used.
The engine was built in 1995. It is regularely maintained and serviced and runs smoothly, the saildrive as well.
