Pahi 42, built in Germany, now in Trinidad, West Indies. ref 1079

 

Pahi 42 completed in 1990. Later removed: dagger boards, command pod + cockpit (now slated teakdecks).
Interior a la Rudolf Steiner, harmonic rounded shapes.
Maintenance done in 2008. Catanoa is ready to live on (as we are doing until May 2008), very comfortable for 1-4 persons. Few works have to be done: electric panel for the mast and new hullpainting (PU), Antifouling.

 
Hulls/decks: High quality birch plywood, Multiplex AW100 WBP, 9mm, sheeted with glass & epoxy. Polyurethane paint 2 component, hulls yellow, deckhouse white (2002).
Decks all teak slatted, aft ramp Red Cedar, beams Red Cedar polyurethane painted.
Rigging: 7mm Stainless. Isomat aluminium mast, 13.2m from beamlevel, custom made special toggles for lashing.
Sails: Main, Genoa, Yankee, Jib, Storm Jib & Blister all Lee Sails 1990
Engine: Yamaha 9.9Hp, electric start, long leg, 10amp output, new 1990, starts 2006 without any problem. Spare parts, new blackbox, used starter.
Electrics/Nav: Masthead Tri, Anchor + flash. Additional decklight, Gel Battery 102/99 AHr, solar panel, GPS Magellan, Navico 5500, Seafarer 701 Echo Sounder, Silva 220 log, Silva 1000 Compass, Navico RT6500 vhf, Sony Worldradio.
Ground tackle: CQR x2 (20 & 16kg) each with chain & warp. Danforth 15Kg, chain & warp. 2 x 50m Nylon shorelines.
Galley etc:
Sink & whale footpump. Stove with back oven (gas in box outside). Gas ‘plate’ on top of box for cooking outside.
Toilet: Lavac with Henderson MkV + spare parts.
Dinghy: Plywood 2.4m, oars + 2Hp Yamaha & many spare parts. Dinghy anchor.
Extras: Spare bilge pump (Henderson MkV). 200l water in containers, 2 extra deck mattresses, 2 semiautomatic lifevests, 2 automatic lifevests. Charts.
Misc: Original Wharram Plans. Pots, pans, wok (whole kitchen inventory, no plastic). 2 kerosene lamps. 7/8 halogen lamps. Fans. Several 220V e-tools, grinder, jigsaw, planer, beltsander. Awning. Extra kerosene tank.
