High performance 9 metre cruising catamaran, newly
built and never completed, with most equipment to finish. Based on the
famous Woods Design "Sagitta", the Sapphire version has an extended
bridgedeck and small fixed keels, 9m long, 6m wide, 0.5m draft. |

Sagitta's are known to be very
fast and seaworthy, 14 to 18 knots fast cruising speeds! |

From the owner:
Internally she sleeps 5 to 7, there are two doubles and one
single berths, and two further dinette berths that could make a huge double
berth, There is a large shower, toilet and washbasin in one hull and a large
kitchen (it's too big to call it a galley) in the other with a 4 burner
cooker with grill and oven, microwave, full size sink and loads of cupboards
and storage. Finish is white vinyl and GRP with varnished oak trim - very
smart and modern.
There is full headroom in the hulls and almost full headroom across the
bridge deck (I'm 6'). There are old foam mattresses and cushions but it
really needs new ones. The boat would be a very comfortable live aboard with
loads of space, storage and a huge cockpit (with teak table, cockpit
cushions, canopy and spray hood).
This boat has hardly been in the water. I bought it as an unfinished project
(it has never been registered), bought loads of gear for it but didn't quite
finish it, and it's been languishing expensively ever since. I has a new
mast, boom, spinnaker pole, mainsail, brand new 9.9/15hp "bigfoot" 4 stroke
Mercury outboard, new compass, new steering, new single lever O/B controls,
new SS cooker, taps, inset halogen spotlights, light beech flooring, etc,
etc.

Absolute bargain:
FatCat could be ready to launch and used under motor in a couple of days
(commission the new outboard, fit battery and new antifouling on the hulls).
FatCat could be sailing in about 1 weeks work (standing rigging, about £900,
finish chainplates, raise the new 12 metre mast).
To finish it needs upholstery, laying the flooring, some electrics and
finishing the plumbing (no hot water yet), and some trimming, but almost
everything is included to finish the boat.. However you could launch it
tomorrow and have it sailing in a week, so you could use it while you finish
it.
The interior is lined with cream vinyl and finished in light oak trim, with
varnished light oak panels for headlining with inset halogen lights-very
smart when finished!
