From the owner:
This Oceanbird lay ashore for 15 years until we acquired her in early 2010.
She had no engine, no sterngear. no sails, no anything. However these
vessels were extremely heavily and well built and she was basically sound.
As you can see from the inventory almost everything has been renewed or
replaced. It still needs the water reservoirs replacing .We put her in the
water and used her this season after putting so much work in.
Oceanbird's are fast, comfortable, cruising, passage makers. We have had her
scooting along at 14knots on the way to the Channel islands. I am sure she
goes faster.
