The Quay Portdinorwig N.Wales About 1988. Cruising Chute, launch and
recovery, Sleeve By Crusader about 1995. All sails are controlled from the
cockpit by two Lewmar selftailing winches and two snubber winches. turning
blocks line s for cruising chute.
The winches also extend and retract the wings.
Engine:
Kubota 17H.P. 2 Cylinder Diesel Direct Injected
and Fresh water Cooled and raw water exhaust cooling. The sump has been
modified for oil changes via special adapter, and comes with extraction tank
and pump. This engine drives a fixed bladed 14x10 Bronze Propeller on S.S.
1"0 Shaft thro' a Centaflex M Series Coupling, using 1 to 1. 1/4 litres an
hour. 20 gal. fuel tank.
The engine is by Hydromarine, believed to be approx built in 1984. In good
condition.
Electrics, Electronic & Nav.
Steering compass, "Gemina" by Aqua Meter.
Barometer and Clock, parrallel rule hand compass. A suite of ST 50
Instruments including Depth, Wind Speed, Boat Speed and GPS in consul on the
coachroof with a Master Instrument at the Nav. Station. A Navplotter 100
talking thro' the data bus to one of two tiller pilots. ( Tiller Pilots 1000
and 2000) By Autohelm or" Raymarine" as its now known.
Admiralty Charts From the English Channel to La Rochelle. Serveral large
scale French Charts of off laying islands in N. Biscay. Plus several Pilot
Books.
The Nav station also has Navtex with rolling weather information.
A VHF. Swiftech M168 Marine receiver. Hitachi FM Radio, Cigar Lighter.
Electrical. A 12 Volt, 30 amp alternator keeps 2x 110amp.hr and 1x 58 Ahr
topped up. Batteries by Vetus. All cabins have two or more 12 volt lights
plus two at the nav table.
The boat is equipped with 240 volt ring main with outlets one in the galley,
one under the dinette table one in the heads and one in the forecabin. A
mains Table light and an electric kettle.
The mains control panel is in the cockpit central pedestal housing a mcb/distribution
control/Sterling Smart Battery Charger. Navigation lights are by Perko Inc.
and include Mast Head Tricolour with anchor light combined port and
starboard in the bow pulpit. A 12 Volt Coolbox is located in the heads,
portside.
Ground tackle etc:
10 Kilo Bruce Anchor, 10 meters of 3/8" chain on
30 meters of Multiplat rope. |
Safety:
Safety gear Four Auto Lifejackets,
one with safety harness built-in. Two further harnesses with lifelines.
Lazyjack, two horns, one air one manual. Flat-pack Black ball and triangle.
Whale Bilge Pump under port cockpit seat.
Fire extinguishes One 2kg powder. to European Community Declaration of
Conformity. Serviceable. Three other Powder, Disposable.
Medical Kit.
Tubular Radar Reflector permanently fixed to cap shroud.
Galley:
Galley/plumbing etc Two burner Flavel
"Vanessa" Cooker with grill and oven. Sink with Whale Hand pump, via Jabsco
Water Filter. S.S. Kettle, Tea pot, and Coffee Percolator.
Water is supplied by two built-in water tank either side of the engine and
one 10 gallon Vetus flexible tank under the saloon floor. All Cutlery and
crockery for four people included.
Head:
The wash basin in the heads, is the
standard pullout type with a Whale hand pump.
The toilet is a Raske and van der Meyde RM 69. Manual Pump.
Dinghy:
" Humber" Three meter with solid floor , oars and
pump. Installed in Swivel Davits on the stern of Swingbird. A "Tohatsu" 4HP.
two stroke outboard stored on the pushpit. The pushpit is equipped with a
crane for lowering the outboard when the dinghy is in the water.
Misc:
Misc 1.Bowthruster Vetus 2 Hp.
with own battery. Controlled from the main engine single lever throttle
Switches.
One 6" and three 8" x 20" and Two 12" ball fenders.
One large bucket, one large bowl.
2x13lb Calor bottles.
2x Calor regulator.
Full cockpit Cover.
A frame tent covering the whole cockpit, which gives an extra room when
sheltering in harbour in bad weather.
Full set of cockpit cushions, a set of all round cockpit dodgers.
Both the Pushpit and pulpit are reinforced from the standard, which makes it
harder for small children to slip thro. The goal posts carry all the GPS,
Navtex, VHF and FM aerials.
Flyscreens and vanity covers for windows and hatches in forecabin.
Fully Carpeted through-out.
The Boat was painted ,hull and deck in 2001.
The boat is equipped with all servicing tools and spares and comes with an
arch lever files with Instruction Manuals and spare parts lists, and
diagrams of the boats electrical systems.
This boat can be handled single handed, under way, including extending and
