Extra information,
history, notable sails etc etc.
She was surveyed by John Marples
(co designer and partner of Jim brown) before we bought her in Florida in
Jan 2003.(survey available)
We learned from the previous owner that we were the 4th owners.
She was built in Ontario and while there at one stage she spent about 10
years out of the water.
She went to Florida and Bahamas after.
We sailed her to Cuba, Cayman islands and Mexico over a year before we
sailed back to Florida and got her ready for her first Atlantic crossing in
May 2004.
She sailed beautifully to the Azores and Ireland. She has been across the
bay of Biscay 4 times since between Ireland and northern Spain.
She is just back in Southern Ireland after her last crossing from a Corunna
in Galicia. |
